KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compensation Strategy & Management
- Develop and maintain competitive compensation structures, including base pay, incentives, and bonuses, aligned with market trends and organizational goals.
- Conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking to ensure pay practices remain competitive within the manufacturing industry.
- Design and administer variable pay programs (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, performance bonuses) tailored to manufacturing roles.
- Manage payroll processes in collaboration with finance, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulations.
- Benefits Design & Administration
- Design, evaluate, and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other perks.
- Negotiate with vendors and brokers to secure cost-effective, high-quality benefits packages for employees at all levels.
- Ensure benefits programs comply with local laws, union agreements (if applicable), and industry standards in manufacturing.
- Communicate benefits offerings to employees, providing education and support during enrollment periods.
- Total Rewards Strategy
- Develop a holistic total rewards strategy that integrates compensation, benefits, recognition, and work-life balance initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
- Align total rewards programs with the company’s mission, values, and talent retention goals in a manufacturing environment.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of total rewards programs, using data to recommend adjustments and improvements.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all compensation and benefits practices comply with local, state, and federal labor laws, as well as manufacturing-specific
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Master’s or certifications (e.g., CCP, CBP, PHR) a plus.
- Experience: 5-7 years in compensation and benefits, with 3+ years in manufacturing. Proven total rewards design and management.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Expertise in compensation (job evaluation, market pricing, incentives).
- Strong benefits administration and vendor management.
- Familiarity with HRIS
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal labor laws in manufacturing.
- Soft Skills: Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal).
