RESPONSIBILITIES:
Category/Group Brands planning and Development:
- Developing total strategic mid- and long- term direction for the assigned categories in order to achieve annual, and long-term sales, profit and marketing objectives.
- Leading the category planning process, monitors, analysis and evaluates market trends and consumer behavior to identify gaps and opportunities for growth.
- Developing strong marketing plans for new and existing products including positioning, pricing strategy, communication and marketing programs.
Implementation and management:
- Directing the implementation of approved plans by providing advice and direction to the Brand Team and facilitating coordination with related internal Functions and external third parties.
- Monitoring monthly category budget and P&Ls ensuring that all activities are within budget and financial parameters.
- Overseeing new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities.
Team management:
- Overseeing team operation and keep updating team activities to match with work requirements.
- Providing coaching and help subordinates to develop their career roadmap
REQUIREMENTS:
- University Graduate
- Preferred BA in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Medical / Pharmaceutical/ Economics
- Strong knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles
- Ability to analyze and develop accurate conclusions to support category decisions based on key data.
- An understanding of the market and consumer insights and trends
- Strong people management and persuasion skills to manage and influence at all levels of the company.
- Analytical mind with strategic ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of numeracy
Experiences
- 3-5 experience in the position of Senior / Group Brands Manager at MNC in Pharmaceutical/FMCG
- Previous experience in category management is a plus
- Experience of launching new products
