- Lead and mentor the accounting team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate the preparation of consolidated financial accounts and ensure accurate reconciliation of transactions between entities.
- Oversee treasury and financing activities, including management of cash flow and financial planning.
- Leverage ERP systems for effective data management, ensuring robust financial data analysis and reporting.
- Guide the implementation and optimization of finance modules within the ERP system.
- Ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards, providing expert advice on compliance matters.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal and regulatory changes affecting financial reporting and provide strategic advice accordingly.
- Develop and deliver training programs for the accounting team, enhancing their capabilities and performance.
- Conduct thorough reviews of accounting records, transactions, and financial statements for accuracy and reliability.
- Utilize accounting software for meticulous management of financial records, reports, and audits.
- Manage fixed asset depreciation schedules, long-term prepaid expenses, and oversee cash handling procedures.
- Organize the accounting department’s workflow, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Collaborate closely with HR to review and advise on payroll calculations.
- Review financial aspects of contracts and transactions, providing guidance on financial implications.
- Propose strategic changes and innovations to the leadership team, aiming to enhance departmental efficiency and internal controls.
- Lead the preparation and review of financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and timely submissions.
- Liaise with internal departments, external state agencies, auditors, and banks as necessary.
- Engage in cross-border collaboration with teams in different locations to ensure cohesive financial management across the organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Auditing.
- Strong proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively. Knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of responsibility and initiative.
- Expertise in Excel, data mining, and financial analysis.
- Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in a similar role, with experience in ERP systems in the manufacturing sector preferred.
