Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the hospital's mission, vision, and goals.
- Lead organizational growth initiatives, including expanding location and services.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities in ophthalmic care to drive innovation and excellence.
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day hospital operations, ensuring efficient workflows, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize clinical processes, enhance patient flow, and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve operational excellence.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the hospital budget, revenue goals, and expense controls to achieve financial sustainability and profitability.
- Implement cost-effective strategies to maximize revenue streams, minimize expenses, and improve overall financial performance.
- Lead the company to identify areas for improvement and strategic investment.
Quality and Patient Care:
- Promote a culture of patient-centered care, safety, and clinical excellence throughout the organization.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Monitor patient satisfaction metrics and implement initiatives to enhance the patient experience and outcomes.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Provide inspirational leadership to the hospital staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Empower and support departmental leaders to achieve their goals and drive continuous improvement.
- Technology Integration:
- Champion the adoption of technology solutions in ophthalmic care to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
External Relations and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, staff, patients, community leaders, and regulatory agencies.
- Represent the hospital in external forums, industry conferences, and professional associations to promote the hospital's reputation and brand.
- Collaborate with strategic partners and stakeholders to expand referral networks, develop partnerships, and enhance the hospital's market presence.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare management, with specific experience in ophthalmology or eye care preferred.
- Strong understanding of hospital operations, healthcare finance, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement methodologies.
- Proven track record of strategic planning, business development, and achieving organizational goals.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower teams to deliver high-quality care and performance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, clinical quality, and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of current trends, technologies, and best practices in ophthalmic care and healthcare management.
