RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Marketing Director Vietnam is responsible and accountable for the overall strategy of the affiliate portfolio: Microbiota, Women’s Health, Legacy portfolio.
  • Development and implementation of operational planning of the global marketing strategy.
  • Work closely with the Medical Head and the National Sales Manager to define and align upon integrated Plans.
  • Marketing department Budget design and optimization; ensure marketing budget investment and proper allocation against company goals and priorities with a regular ROI monitoring. 
  • Participation in the development, implementation, adjustment and achievement of the Marketing plan;
  • Be a strong contributor in drawing up long-term and current plans for production and sale of products, identifying new sales markets;
  • Coordination of the activities of functional units for the collection and analysis of commercial and economic information, the creation of marketing data;
  • Organization of the study of consumers' opinions about products and their impact on sales, and the preparation of proposals to improve the competitiveness and quality of products;
  • Establishing and maintaining business relationships with key commercial partners and leading healthcare professionals;
  • Collaborating actively with Customer Experience department (HQ) / Global Marketing teams in the aligned ambitions & priorities across organization;
  • Prepares with his / her team and key internal stakeholders and attends Local / international congresses.
  • Management of marketing department employees:
  • Work planning and task setting.
  • Monitoring of work and reporting.
  • Annual assessment of work and professional growth.
  • Planning of professional development and training needs.
  • Be a role model of companies’ values.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of strategic and operational marketing experience in Vietnam, preferably in the pharmaceutical, OTC, Cosmetics and/or dietary supplement industry
  • Proven track record in leading a high-performance marketing team including with doctors, pharmacists and DTC (offline/online)
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently
  • Experience in new product launches
  • Experience in working cross functionally to develop innovative strategy and implementation plans
  • Strong knowledge of marketing best practices, including product portfolio management, brand management
  • Strategic agility and future orientation, ability to anticipate future events and change of situations that can impact the business
  • Proven ability to implement a team-based performance culture
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage different situations at different level of complexity
  • Fluency in Vietnamese and English
