Overview:

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the company's supply chain operations, from customs clearance to inventory management. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management principles, and customs regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customs Clearance:

  • Monitor broker performance and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
  • Classify products accurately for customs purposes.
  • Validate import requests and customs declarations.
  • Process duty and tax payments.
  • Track shipments to ensure timely delivery and avoid penalties.
  • Manage conformity regulations for imported and exported goods.
  • Maintain records for customs audits and internal audits.

Warehouse Management:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory planning, picking, packing, and storage.
  • Ensure efficient and safe warehouse operations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize warehouse efficiency.
  • Create and maintain warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Manage stock returns and reverse logistics.

Inbound and Outbound Logistics:

  • Manage all inbound and outbound deliveries.
  • Monitor freight shipments and ensure timely delivery.
  • Forecast delivery volumes and manage capacity.
  • Optimize shipping methods, routing, and carriers.
  • Coordinate with customers and stakeholders regarding delivery status.
  • Address customer feedback and complaints promptly.

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records in both the company's system and the 3PL system.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Manage stock levels and avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Monitor non-inventory items such as packaging materials.
  • Oversee inventory cycle counts and stocktakes.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and analyze various reports related to supply chain performance.
  • Track and follow up on tasks and projects.
  • Maintain a well-organized document library.
  • Support ad hoc logistics activities as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Customs, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and WMS/ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
