The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the company's supply chain operations, from customs clearance to inventory management. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management principles, and customs regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customs Clearance:
- Monitor broker performance and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
- Classify products accurately for customs purposes.
- Validate import requests and customs declarations.
- Process duty and tax payments.
- Track shipments to ensure timely delivery and avoid penalties.
- Manage conformity regulations for imported and exported goods.
- Maintain records for customs audits and internal audits.
Warehouse Management:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory planning, picking, packing, and storage.
- Ensure efficient and safe warehouse operations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize warehouse efficiency.
- Create and maintain warehouse policies and procedures.
- Manage stock returns and reverse logistics.
Inbound and Outbound Logistics:
- Manage all inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Monitor freight shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Forecast delivery volumes and manage capacity.
- Optimize shipping methods, routing, and carriers.
- Coordinate with customers and stakeholders regarding delivery status.
- Address customer feedback and complaints promptly.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records in both the company's system and the 3PL system.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Manage stock levels and avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
- Monitor non-inventory items such as packaging materials.
- Oversee inventory cycle counts and stocktakes.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and analyze various reports related to supply chain performance.
- Track and follow up on tasks and projects.
- Maintain a well-organized document library.
- Support ad hoc logistics activities as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Customs, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and WMS/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
