Senior Production Engineer

About the role: 

• Categories: Plastic toy, Audio equipment, Bags, Luggage, Furniture (Wood/Metal), Ceramics, Storage and Paper. 
• Partner with various cross functional teams, manage factory level activities and relationships for their respective regions. 
• Develop processes and requirements to validate stakeholder expectations are being met, including our Guests, Regulators, Industry, Internal Partners, and others. 
• Ensure vendors deliver safe and quality owned brand products through product compliance, quality & regulatory requirements. 
• Proactive and preventive quality assurance and control, delivering end-to-end results through different programs. 
• Assess and resolve product and inspection issues and support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. 
• Conduct calibration activities on process or product with third parties and BPQI (Business Partner Quality Inspector), determine the critical processes to quality and controls 
• Support escalation, disposition and (CAPA) Corrective Actions and Preventive Action reviews for continuous improvement while understanding the guests’ expectations. 
• Review data and conduct statistical analysis, drive cost of poor-quality reduction with a focus on greater efficiency and right first-time quality.  

About you: 

• 5+ year experience in consumer products, background in consumer product manufacturing, quality, and technical/engineering perspective. 
• Or 5+ year experience in consumer products (compliance/manufacturing, quality management, raw material, and product). 
• Knowledge of quality tools RCA/Fishbone/Lean/Six Sigma/Industrial Engineering Experienced in line setup. 
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to partner with dynamic, multiple, & remote stakeholders. 
• Ability to work across multiple time zones, as needed, in collaboration with global teams. 
• Proficient in English and local language. 
• Software knowledge; data & analytics, statistics, including an advanced level in Excel, general knowledge of Minitab and some experience with design software for product design reviews. 
• Availability to travel domestically 60% of the time and occasionally internationally. 
• Position requires a current and valid driver license. 
• Lean Six Sigma certification, ISO 9001 Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer, Green Belt certification preferred. 
• Experience in retail purchasing operations or support (Sourcing, procurement, QA, development, etc.) preferred.
