RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the daily operations of workshops, ensuring optimal productivity and safety.
- Lead and manage a team of skilled engineers and technicians, fostering a positive work environment.
- Provide hands-on technical expertise in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), Mechanical, and Rotating equipment to support complex projects.
- Ensure the workshop's compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with local customers, particularly state-owned enterprises, ensuring clear communication and a high level of service satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in workshop operations.
- Monitor and control budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations.
- Represent the company in meetings with clients and suppliers, showcasing professionalism and technical knowledge.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields).
- 10+ years of experience in workshop management or relevant roles within the Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Power Plant sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in E&I, Mechanical, and Rotating equipment is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage teams, optimize operations, and drive productivity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Experience working with state-owned enterprises and understanding the unique dynamics of this customer segment.
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness, with a proven track record of successfully managing workshop operations.
- Good command of English
