We are looking for the candidate for Business Development & Partnership Director, located in District 1, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

JOB PURPOSES:

The Business Development & Partnership Lead is a strategic leadership role responsible for transforming our business development team, driving the overall BD sales function for Talentnet. This role involves setting up a new team, hunting for new customers, enhancing cross-sales among existing customers, and retaining critical clients to drive accelerating growth rate for Talentnet.

RESPONSIBILITY

Growth & Business Development Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share across all Talentnet BUs.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing services.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities in Vietnam in the short term and might extend to consul to Cambodia and other countries later.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.

Customer Acquisition:

  • Lead initiatives to hunt for new customers through various channels including direct sales, partnerships, and networking.
  • Develop and execute lead generation plans to build a robust sales pipeline.

Customer Retention & Cross-Sales:

  • Design and implement strategies to retain existing customers and ensure long-term satisfaction.
  • Lead and partner with BUs to present solutions to both new and existing clients to win customers through competitive advantage edges and effective pricing strategies and promotion schemes.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional services, including Executive Search, Payroll, HR Outsourcing, HR Consulting, and HR Tech to existing clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and deliver customized solutions.
  • Analyze client feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for service enhancement and expansion.

Partnership Development:

  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with relevant organizations and businesses.
  • Support our company’s growth story via building a strong network of referral partnerships
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to create value-added services and solutions.
  • Establish partnerships and alliances with local businesses and stakeholders

Marketing Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Lead to create compelling value propositions and promotional materials I initiatives I programs to grow business and win No. 1 position in marketplace.
  • Utilize digital marketing, social media, and other channels to enhance brand visibility and generate leads to enable more new clients through communication initiatives.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage corporate revenue and the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Monitor financial performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, motivate the BD team and the whole organization to promote cross-sales, sales driven to achieve targets and deliver exceptional results.
  • Set clear objectives, performance metrics, and regular feedback mechanisms.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the team through coaching, training, and professional development initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years plus of experience in corporate business development, sales, and marketing, partnership, preferably within HR consulting or professional services industry or financial services. Experience in international markets, especially in Southeast Asia, is a strong advantage.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and transforming business development/ sales teams; achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Qualifications: Transformative leadership, EQ leadership, strategic thinking, tech efficiency, result driven, problem solving, and business acumen.
  • Strong in networking and relationship Building
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • The ideal candidate embraces a one-Team mindset, prioritizing collaboration and unity across all departments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, project management, operations management and business acumen
  • Strong in networking and relationship building, negotiation and closing skills, market insight, digital and data skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities in English & Vietnamese. Candidate with proficiency in Chinese is an added advantage.
  • Fully proficient with MS office
