Senior Consultant – Payroll Services, Immigration

We are looking for candidate for Senior Consultant - Payroll Services, Immigration, located in Ho Chi Minh city.  

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Immigration Services Senior Consultant will be responsible for advising clients on immigration processes, managing case files, and ensuring compliance with relevant immigration laws. This role involves liaising with government agencies, providing expert guidance, and handling complex immigration applications.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITY

• Liaise with relevant authorities to handle applications in a professional manner
• Develop and maintain effective relationship with relevant authorities and other immigration communities
• Monitor regulatory and legislative changes in immigration practice
• Serve as a primary contact with external vendors, monitor vendor performance to ensure the timely and quality delivery of deliverables
• Prepare & review of case documents and applications for filing with the relevant authorities;
• Work with line manager, where applicable, to perform intake of cases, troubleshooting issues and establishing case strategy
• Receive and validate documents submitted by assignees as per the checklist
• Assist in document review for various immigration case types
• Proactively monitor the progression of cases to capture and action next steps
• Ensure on time delivery on all client deliverables
• Deliver technically and administratively accurate work with minimal supervision and guidance and be accountable for your individual outcome and their impact on the team
• Assist in training of new team members and identify ways to improve team productivity
• Contribute to ad hoc projects, where assigned by line manager

REQUIREMENT

• A university degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, English, or other relevant fields is essential to provide a solid foundation in communication, compliance, and administration.
• 3+ years of experience in immigration services or related legal practices, preferably in handling complex immigration processes, including visa applications, work permits, and compliance with governmental regulations.
• Expertise in immigration laws and regulations.
• Strong expertise in immigration laws and process compliance.
• Proven skills in client management and liaising with government agencies.
• Excellent attention to detail in preparing and reviewing case documents.
• Strong ability in problem-solving and decision-making under time pressure.
• Knowledge of payroll services is an advantage.
• Proficiency in project management and handling multiple client cases.
• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.
• Agile mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbally in English.
• Fully proficient with MS office.
