RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fund Administration 

Operations 

  • Manage the team to ensure smooth day to day operations for the funds and investment products. 
  • Review investment and advisory contracts and other agreements for clients/partners; liaise with the The Company product development and/or legal team on major contract revisions/updates for new products and/or new large clients.
  •  Collect data from relevant parties and handle all administrative matters pertaining to agents and sub-mandates to ensure issues with invoices, trailer fee calculations, and other discrepancies, are handled fully and in a timely manner.
  •  Liaise with regulators (primarily the State Securities Commission of Vietnam) on regulatory issues and ensure that the company and its staff comply with regulatory requirements; manage the regulatory inspections process. 
  • Liaise with regulators and engage with internal teams, to ensure that The Company is creating innovative products based on new rules and policies 
  • Update NAVs and other information on third party platforms (Morningstar, Factset, etc.). 
  • Stay informed of, implement responses, and troubleshoot issues, relating to changes in domestic and international regulations (EET, PRIIP, KID, etc.) 
  • Update and develop processes and policies to ensure appropriate functioning of all relevant product operational processes.
  • Identify and make operational improvements that could enhance efficiency and consistence to support the funds growing sustainably.

Reporting 

  • Ensure that the CEO, business development team, and investment team, receive timely accurate reports relating to the management of investment products.

Product

  • Arrange, chair, and record the monthly Product Management Committee meeting.

New Products 

  • Develop, evaluate, structure and license new funds, managed accounts, and other investment products, from idea generation to launch , and ensuring that licenses for such products are received quickly and efficiently. 
  • Coordinate with the relevant front offices, middle offices, and back offices to collect any information needed to prepare materials for the various stages in the product development workflow. 
  • Establishing the legal and operational framework for new funds, managed accounts, and other investment products. 
  • Ensure best practices are adopted and applicable governance processes are applied for all new investment product initiatives. 
  • Ensure the fund performance reporting process to the targeted audience efficient. 

Existing Products 

  • Review all investment products annually to ensure they remain attractive to investors and economically viable. 

AUM/market competitor tracking and reporting 

  • Track and report on pertinent matters relating to competitors' products. Particularly, changes in fees and availability on different platforms, and significant changes in AUMS.
  • Produce the following reports relating to market share, fund AUM, and competitor tracking: 
    •  Weekly I Fund peers performance report 
    • Monthly I All domestic OEFs & ETFs performance report 
    • Monthly I Client alert list 
    • Quarterly I OEFs & ETFs' feature update report 
    • Bi-annually I Financial product map 
    • Monthly/quarterly Cohort retention analysis 

Trading Department

  • Manage trading activities including equity (listed and OTC)/ fixed income dealing, report disclosure and generating buy and sell orders based on trading strategies developed by the portfolio managers. 
  • Managing trades from inception to post-trade analysis, including building trades, pre- trade analysis, execution, and settlement. 
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and that best execution policies are adhered to. 
  • Designing trade architecture, trading policies and procedures, as well as broker evaluation and trading record keeping. 
  • Assisting portfolio managers with rebalancing and asset allocation tasks.

Business Solutions 

  • Define technical requirements and create high-level architecture. This includes buy vs build analyses. For "buy" projects: complete tendering process of potential providers and implementation of the solution. For "build" projects: identify coding language/technology to use, identify third-party developers. Some coding required, as needed. 
  • Manage the corporate and fund websites. This includes managing the production calendar, managing third party front-end developers, and basic wire frames. Some HTML and CSS, as needed. 
  • Manage a team of Business Solutions to support all aspects of the Company's digital strategy and transformation. 
  • Research and evaluate new technologies, identify new tools (Al, digital, CRM) that can support and enhance our solutions, and identify new opportunities for businesses to appeal to investors through digital channels. 
  • Develop and implement new digital systems to meet the Company's business goals. 
  • Ensure that digital initiatives are fully integrated with the strategic-planning process, including leadership commitment and resource allocation. 
  • Work with teams across the business to generate innovative digital solutions for products, services, processes, user experiences, marketing channels, and business models. 

Human resource management 

  • Recruit, manage and motivate strong teams. Work with The Company's Human Resources team to ensure appropriate training/coaching, career development, hiring and firing, succession planning and performance management for all staff. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting at a recognized international university. 
  • At least 10 years of fund operations experience in asset management business or similar field. 
  • Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written. 
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Excellent people skills, with an ability to work with a dynamic management team. 
  • Possesses personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to company goals. 
  • Flexible, self-motivated and able to multi-task; can work in a fast-moving environment without losing attention to detail; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and implementing initiatives with limited time and resources. 
  • Possesses leadership and management abilities to oversee various teams and departments
