RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organize, supervise, and control the coordination of the transportation department’s fleet to ensure the proper execution of transportation plans, and ensure goods are delivered to customers in full, safely, and on time. Organize, establish, and monitor the standards for oil and lubricant consumption, maintenance standards, and spare parts depreciation rates to ensure vehicles are always ready for operation.

  • Organize and monitor the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual personnel plans of the Transportation Department according to the company’s orientation to meet business plans and ensure adequate staffing for the department’s operational activities.
  • Organize, supervise, and control the execution of fleet coordination for the Transportation Department to carry out transportation plans and routes, ensuring optimal time and cost efficiency as approved.
  • Organize and supervise the coordination to ensure that goods are delivered to customers in full, safely, and on time.
  • Organize, supervise, and control risk management related to transportation progress within the department, minimizing risks and quickly and promptly addressing any issues that arise.
  • Organize and control the establishment of standard systems to ensure that vehicles are always ready for operation.
  • Organize, coordinate, and control the entry and exit of vehicles at warehouses and the delivery and receipt of transport documents with drivers to ensure loading and unloading times are met and all documents are complete in accordance with company regulations.

Organize, supervise, and control the monitoring of oil sensors to ensure fuel consumption is analyzed and reported in a timely manner. Develop and implement maintenance plans for transportation vehicles to ensure they are always operational and meet the company’s transportation needs. Execute and manage import-export operations and customs procedures for the company’s import and export goods to ensure that all documents and procedures are accurate, complete, and comply with government regulations.

  • Organize, supervise, and control the tracking of all GPS signals and journey routes for all vehicles under the Transportation Department to ensure correct delivery addresses, compliance with designated routes, and adherence to company regulations.
  • Organize, supervise, and control the tracking of fuel consumption software signals within the oil sensors for vehicles managed by the Transportation Department, ensuring that fuel consumption is analyzed and reported in a timely manner.
  • Organize and supervise the planning and execution of maintenance and repair activities for transportation vehicles, logistics vehicles, and office vehicles in Binh Duong to ensure all vehicles are operational and ready to meet transportation needs.
  • Organize and manage the documentation related to the Transportation Department's vehicles, including insurance, registration, technical inspection, and vehicle badges, to ensure that all vehicles meet legal operating conditions as regulated by governmental authorities.
  • Organize, supervise, and manage the handling of traffic safety incidents, including coordinating with relevant authorities, insurance companies, and third parties to resolve accidents quickly and efficiently, ensuring that damaged vehicles are swiftly put back into operation.
  • Organize, supervise, and control the implementation of training and education on traffic safety and oversee the recruitment process for drivers to ensure compliance with legal regulations during transportation operations.
  • Organize, supervise, and control customs clearance activities for import and export shipments of various trade types (trading, non-trading, temporary export and re-import, temporary import and re-export, etc.) for the company's factories (e.g., customs declarations, payment of shipping line/port fees, C/O applications, import license applications, etc.), ensuring all declarations comply with regulations (import/export taxes, VAT, environmental taxes, etc.).
  • Organize, supervise, and control the transportation of goods from border gates to the company and vice versa, ensuring timely execution as per the company’s plans.
  • Advise the Purchasing Department on import-export operations (e.g., international payments, Incoterms, transportation documents, etc.) during contract negotiations.
  • Participate in establishing budgets in line with the company's transportation business strategy and financial targets to ensure timely approval and proper alignment with business operations.
  • Organize and control all costs and standards within the Transportation Department, ensuring cost optimization according to the company’s objectives and regulations.
  • Organize and track revenue, costs, and profits for each vehicle under the Transportation Department’s management, ensuring reasonable cost allocation for each vehicle.
  • Control the transportation cost standards, monitor and pay for fuel costs and toll fees on time.
  • Control transportation costs from service providers for the factories, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely payment as per regulations

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge & Professional Competencies:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • In-depth Knowledge: Strong understanding of transportation operations and strategic planning.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to handle both domestic and international transportation issues.

Leadership Competencies:

  • Planning & Resource Management: Ability to plan and organize resources to achieve strategic objectives and deliver results aligned with company strategy.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in Computer Usage: Skilled in using computers and knowledgeable about warehouse and transportation management software.

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in English: Proficient in both spoken and written English.
