Legal Manager

The Legal Manager will act as the in-house legal counsel, responsible for managing and overseeing all legal matters related to company operations and investment projects, especially those involving land, foreign investment, and regulatory compliance.

This position plays a key role in supporting the company’s investment procedures, licensing, and corporate governance.

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the company’s internal legal advisor on all business, investment, and land-related matters.
  • Prepare, review, and manage legal documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with Vietnamese law and FDI regulations.
  • Lead and coordinate all legal procedures for obtaining Investment Policy Approval (Chấp thuận chủ trương đầu tư) and other related licenses for FDI projects.
  • Liaise with governmental authorities, industrial zone management boards, and relevant agencies during the investment and licensing process.
  • Advise management on risk prevention, dispute resolution, and strategic legal issues related to company operations.
  • Work closely with external law firms and legal consultants when needed.
  • Monitor legal changes, update management on new regulations, and ensure company compliance.
  • Provide legal training or guidance to internal departments regarding investment, land use, and corporate matters.
• Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Licensed Lawyer (Law Practice Certificate) in Vietnam is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in corporate or investment law, preferably with strong exposure to land law and FDI investment procedures.
  • Solid experience in preparing investment documents and working with state authorities to obtain approvals.
  • Good understanding of Vietnamese laws on land, enterprises, and foreign investment.
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills in both Vietnamese and English.
  • Able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced investment environment.
