RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Takes a disciplined and rigorous approach to managing accounts.
- Leads the account planning and commercial performance management work streams for the entire division.
- Implements comprehensive account plan templates (e.g., overview, strategy, total spend and share, margin performance, needs, key stakeholders, action plan).
- Develops structured, strategic and tactical plans that include specific financial targets, action plans, and service elements.
- Builds capability within account teams to deliver against action plans.
- Develop, maintain and update multi-year regeneration budgets.
- Responsible for cross-functional problem solving and execution between sales team and the broader organization to identify solutions and capture results.
- Facilitates cross-functional account reviews to align on targets and action plan for customers.
- May assist with customer contract negotiations, assess areas of dispute, and amend contracts when necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Typically possesses Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
- 8-12 years of working experience
- Possess in-depth experience in a business-to-business sales/account management environment.
- Possess experience in market planning and/or commercial strategy development.
- Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Possess excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Possess excellent project management and planning skills.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize competing projects.
