HSE Director

Overview:

As the EHS Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive safety and environmental strategy to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and industry best practices. You will lead a team of safety professionals to minimize risk, prevent accidents, and promote a culture of safety and sustainability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a robust EHS strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
• Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective control measures.
• Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Training and Development: Develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Emergency Response: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and employees.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in risk assessment, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
• Experience in developing and implementing EHS programs and policies.
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
