KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing and developing project department resources
- Determine the staffing level in the block and the staffing level for each type of project. Make a recruitment plan, coordinate with the HR department to carry out the recruitment.
- Organize, monitor and manage the KPI performance evaluation system for the project department. Orient career development for employees according to assessed capacity.
- Determine training needs, develop plans and organize training, improve professional skills and knowledge for employees within the scope of management. Organize and implement updating knowledge for work.
- Propose, participate in building, managing and adjusting policies related to project department staff such as rules, regulations, salary policies, allowances, rewards, discipline, etc.
- Propose year-end rewards and discipline for project department staff.
Plan and control project management activities
- Support bidding work. Review and propose adjustments to the terms of the bidding phase contract.
- Assign personnel to serve the projects.
- Approve progress and assigned cost items (projects)
- Control budget for project implementation
- Monitor collection plans/urgencies to ensure collection according to plan, work with investors when necessary.
- Support project team to resolve issues: related to the project, conflicts between project team and other functional departments, conflicts between project team members, etc.
- Deploy, organize and control the system of project and project department records.
- Check and urge the updating of project information on the system
- Evaluate the implementation efficiency of projects
- Make periodic reports
Project department management tasks
- Approve vacation, business expenses, estimates, advances, payment of construction site costs ... for personnel under management
- Develop and implement the annual operation plan of the project department.
- Participate in the development of management processes of the department and the company.
- Propose changes/adjustments to management processes (if necessary)
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, project management
- Have professional project management certifications
- At least 5 years of experience in the similar position
- Knowledge & experience in construction & furniture installation for projects
- Strong leadership, trustful and decisive
- Good communication
- Excellent English
