RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsibility for the strategic orientation of the rapidly growing Southeast Asia region will be held.
- Processes, structures, and a corporate culture that enable strong growth, will be established and further developed.
- A generalist perspective will be brought to create a framework that encourages all colleagues to contribute their strengths and creative power in a team- and network-oriented way.
- Professional and high-quality operational, productive, and commercial processes/handling with a holistic view for whole Southeast Asia interests will be ensured.
- A great management team that complements each other in a strength-oriented and trusting manner will be formed.
- Strong and profitable growth with a sustainable customer base in the Southeast Asian markets will be ensured.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required with post-graduate degree preferred
- More than 10 years of experience in sales leadership, with responsibility over a region (multiple countries)
- Strong B2B experience, multi-channel capability, optimizing direct to customer, retail/distribution partner to profitably grow top line sales and underlying profitability
- Expertise leading teams to pursue both complex and transactional sales
- English language competency local language skills in South-East Asia / South Asia preferred
- Experience in the trading/sourcing hardlines or project contractors Industry and/or targeting large enterprise accounts, preferred
- Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills along with strong presentation and sales skills.
- Possess a commercial mindset and relationship building skills needed to build rapport and influence senior clients
- Strong leadership skills and well-developed managerial skills to reiterate the focus and vision of the organization to direct reports and to motivate them for success.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively manage others in a remote and team-based environment.
- Willingness to travel within the South-East Asia & South Asia (50% of time)
